PROTECH first evaluates and assesses the strengths and competitive advantages of a client company and its current market position - from there-on, it assists it to identify fresh concepts and new sectors. This identification of project ideas is done after close examination and analysis of the capability of the client company and arranging optimal business positioning for it. We have worked with more than a hundred companies in the sub-continent, assisting them to set up projects in diverse sectors such as textiles, chemicals, light engineering, food, electronics and electrical products, to name just a few.

Born in Nepal, TENZING NORGAY came to Darjeeling, India, where he started his mountaineering career, as a Sherpa (Porter), in 1935. Later, he accompanied other mountaineers to various Himalayan expeditions, and rose to become a Sirdar (Head Porter) in 1947. He climbed the East Peak of Nanda Devi in 1951, with a French expedition. Ambitious and goal-oriented, Tenzing Norgay later participated in two Swiss expeditions to Mount Everest - the world's highest mountain peak. In 1953, he rose to world fame when, along with Sir Edmund Hillary, a New Zealander, they became the first climbers to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
